After my first attempt, I decided to add depth of field on the animation. Firstly I've considered using 3D layers in After Effects. However, looking to other artists made me realise that depth of field could be added by me applying textures to the mage. I believe that the 'final' result was ok; the texture, actually, hasn't added the depth of field I wanted, but the train doesn't look all sharp and crispy like before. I reckon that if add the appropriated textures onto the different elements within the image, the depth of field still can be achieve.
Using black and white footage was something that I've considered from the beginning and now I've decided to try it…I think it worked well, but obviously I will have to find the appropriated material(footage) to use it.

How did I do it….
